I shifted to Arvixe VPS CLASS on Wednesday and since that day, I have been having issues. The support said it's CPU overload, out of memory and all that without providing a solution. Telling me to optimize my website when already my site is optimised.

The site has shut down several times since Wednesday.

Anyone with clue on how to rectify this issue?

Its hard to help in such a case, only your host can diagnose and help you out.

I am currently on a VPS server with siteground with over 33 websites on it and it has never failed for a minute.

true i am even on the $81 per month but since its serving me right, no complains.

If you need something more simple and cheap and reliable then go for inMotionHosting

The problem might be that your server is out of Memory e.g RAM and CPU.

So your host needs to increase/upgrade your Memory and CPU Specification and also your network speed.

You should contact arvixe or check your CPU Consumption.

What i can see in your post.

1. You are having a server load issue. are you hosting any sms script (SP*) or wordpress blog on the vps? if yes disable any plugin generating (anything) after each post or page load. e.g sitemap

2. Try http://cloudflare.com/ to optimize all the website you might have on the vps.

3. I dont think you have RAM issue. you currently have 3GB swap space on your box. but using 48% on your main RAM is a concern to me sha.

Yes I use SPC 4 for bulk SMS. 4 cores is enough to handle SMS script.

I have more than 10 bulk sms website running under me. I host with siteground GoGeek and I hosted all my cron jobs at easycron.com by paying few dollars per year.

I use cloudfare. The process isn't showing cron as the main script using the resources rather site index.

I see no reason why I will be having issues with cron when on VPS.

Already there is CPU over load.

It seems that you may need to upgrade your plan. Or it is better to contact them and ask the problem. From your explanation, it seems that your site consume/overload the memory and CPU usage.

For other cloud service, you can check http://asphostportal.com/Linux-Cloud-Server-Hosting-Plans.

Arvixe is the worst VPS hosting provider.


Those guys are scammers, the VPS is fake. How can a newly VPS without any file have CPU overload.

Managed, that's why it's a bit expensive.

Choose any of their plan. Mind you, look at the renewal price very well. First billing is just peanut, the koko lies on renewal.
