Cele bus stop to Ago roundabout IN Okota is not there. Before the elections, some Igbo pals told me they have been deliberately ignored for years by the Lagos State Govt. I argued with them, I am beginning to believe them now

ajepako:
No single road in Shomolu and Bariga

Meanwhile, the APC droids in both LGs should start using their scatttered brooms to sweep:

Igi Olugbin Road (half done and abandoned)
Awofodu Street
Alade Market Road
Anifowoshe Street
Fagbeyiro Lane,
Odunsi Street
Ladi Lak Area
Onajinmi street
Johnson Street
Omo Alade Alafia street
Popoola Street
Akilo Street
bariga Road
Abule Okuta Road
Ilaje Road
Solanke Street
Olanrewaju Street
Onabola Street
Osipitan Street
Oyeyemi/ Ikenne Street
Apata / Lisabi Street

How many I wan count for these two LGs?

APC: Shame! oh, sorry, 'change'
Do you expect the government to repair all the roads in Lagos at the same time huh Why are you people so unreasonable huh

Re: List Of Roads Lagos State Govt. Has Scheduled For Repairs by citee(m): 10:14pm On Jun 27, 2015
Most of the roads in Okota Isolo need to be on that list. Especially Okota road that leads from Ago round about to cele express. Also Dr Fasheun avenue right from century bus stop to the end is deteriorating very fast.

Don't you think about this?

If all state Governors are doing what they ought to be doing at the same time, good roads, provision of water, schools, medical facilities, job creations etc.

What do you think federal government will be doing? Federal roads and sharing of of common wealth from the federal pulse. Less job for federal more jobs for states.

littlemistress:
Sometimes I wonder if ijegun & its environ isn't part of Alimosho LGA. The insides of ijegun, Ijagemo., Ijedodo & the likes are eye sore.
And to think we've got people in authority is pathetic..
Isheri-oshun as been a slum since my growing up days..
And to think dz same Alimosho is the most populated LGA in Lagos is saddening yet underdeveloped
I think part of the problem lies with the communities, the people feel helpless, they don`t really know how to go about bringing the Government attention to these areas. The community youths need to wake up, the social media is a great platform available to us to communicate with those in power. I also know we have some radio stations that deliberates on community issues they can take advantage of it to call in and make their input.

You are practically right on the population statistics and come to think of it APC got it`s highest vote from these areas, the Ikotun-Egbe road that was even mentioned is long over due, a part of the road at Ejigbo is no longer in use because of its bad state. Ijegun, Ijagemo and Ijedodo to say is an eye sore is an understatement.

If the Youths can mobilize they can take photos of these areaa and use the social media to bring Government attention to it.

You are not making sense. Get a job and be busy. If you can achieve 1% of what Buhari has achieved in life, you will be known in your village but from what you just typed, it shows you are a confused youth that has lost focus. Pray to God to deliver you before you end up in HELL FIRE. People who make head way in life will not abuse their leaders but will appreciate them and pray for them.

That cele-okota road can never get govt attention because its an igbo area.Areas like ikotun,ejigbo,oke-afa,ago,okota,isolo to ajao estate is not of interest to lagos state govt cos they are pre-dominantly igbos. And they are strong pdp areas.

Ikorodu Division Roads are not in d list. No wonder we spent hours on d following roads dat need repairs:
1. Ijede Road by Furniture B/Stop
2. Ijede Road by Baga B/Stop
3. Shagamu Road btw Garage and Sabo in Ikd.
4. Imowo Nla/Bagidan Road in front C.A.C Church Ikd.
These roads just need minor repair.
A stitch in time saves nine.
