Gov. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state today at 3am paid a surprised visit to Murtala Mohammed Specialists Hospital where he frowned at the dirty condition of some sections especially the maternity section and the pediatric and the Accident and Emergency units.

Has the governor considered that the manpower in these units are over-stretched and the infrastructures in a state of quasi-disrepair because pilfering elite oligarchs have shortchanged the masses for decades on end and what he's seeing is the end-result of that reaping off?

he is copying his predecessor Kwankwaso who was known for visiting these places mostly at night. As for the present kano governor, he has been visiting project sites and inspecting sanitation of kano metropolis
