I was transferred to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, UATH, Gwagwalada, the third day after the crash. I spent the next eight months there and as bills kept mounting, I had no choice but to dispose of my landed property, some sewing machines in addition to the money I had in the bank in order to raise over a million naira. I even lost my shop and all the textile materials of several customers plundered by my apprentice that did not ever think I would survive the accident.

That's one thing those that keep stealing public money to become rich doesn't know because within a giffy....... You can loose all you ever stole



Although the man did worked for all he earn but lost all to this incident. I pray he comes back to his feet

While he was in the hospital and selling everything he could get his hands on, who was feeding the kids?, who was paying school fees?,
Who was paying the house rent?

Why was his wife shot out of his business to the extent that his worker stole everything in his shop, he obviously made his wife a liability.

He will be lying if he says he could not locate them within this small nigeria.

The truth is, this guy never invested in his wife, just himself and himself alone, no woman will abadon a loving and caring husband. *truth*

Not justifying her actions but it's not a big deal..such is life,humans are naturally selfish.i don't blame her

Nigerians are st*upid to believe everything. The id*iots who rushed him to the mortuary without taking him to a doctor, had no clue what coma is. A person in a coma remains unconscious for a period of time during which they cannot be woken up, and do not respond to anything around them. When you're clinically dead, you DON'T "come back to life".

What causes a coma?

- Trauma: Head injuries.
- Swelling: Swelling of brain tissue can occur even without distress.
- Bleeding: Bleeding in the layers of the brain may cause coma due to the compression on the injured side of the brain.
- Stroke: When there is no blood flow to a major part of the brain stem or loss of blood accompanied with swelling, coma can occur.
- Blood sugar: In people with diabetes, coma can occur when blood sugar levels stay very high.
- Oxygen deprivation: Oxygen is essential for brain function. Cardiac arrest causes a sudden cut-off of blood flow and oxygen to the brain.
- Infection: Infections of the central nervous system, such as meningitis or encephalitis, can also cause coma.
- Toxins: Substances that are normally found in the body can accumulate to toxic levels if the body fails to dispose of them correctly.
- Seizures: A single seizure rarely produces coma. But continuous seizures, called status epilepticus, can.


What are the different types of coma?

1. Toxic- metabolic encephalopathy. This is an acute condition of brain dysfunction with symptoms of confusion and/or delirium. The condition is usually reversible. The causes of toxic- metabolic encephalopathy are varied. They include systemic illness, infection, organ failure, and other conditions.

2. Anoxic brain injury- This is a brain condition caused by total lack of oxygen to the brain. Lack of oxygen for a few minutes causes cell death to brain tissues. Anoxic brain injury may result from heart attack (cardiac arrest), head injury or trauma, drowning, drug overdose, or poisoning.

3. Persistent vegetative state- This is a state of severe unconsciousness. The person is unaware of his or her surroundings and incapable of voluntary movement. With a persistent vegetative state, someone may progress to wakefulness but with no higher brain function. With persistent vegetative state, there is breathing, circulation and sleep-wake cycles.

4. Locked-in syndrome- This is a rare neurological condition. The person is totally paralysed except for the eye muscles, but remains awake and alert and with a normal mind.

5. Brain death- This is an irreversible cessation of all brain function. Brain death may result from any lasting or widespread injury to the brain.

The man didn't die, that's why he woke up. His family should rush him to the hospital as soon as possible for thorough diagnosis! If he has a life threatening damage in his body and doesn't get treatment soon, he will really die this time.
