It never ceases to amaze me how soon many Nigerian forget the past. In recent days and weeks, some even before the PMB administration came on board, had already begun to write off a government who hadn't even taken over the reins to begin with. With due respect to nairaland, it sometimes almost seems as though it is a base for propaganda brewing...members of this forum know what transpired here before the elections that PMB won against all odds. Let's take a look of the most prominent of issues that have been trending these days:

Boko Haram:
Same persons who called and still call PMB a terrorist who sponsored the dreaded terrorist group are calling for his head because the same group have killed hundreds since his assumption of office on may 29th. The truth is this accusations is and always will be baseless and mere lamentations of sour losers. It begs the question of why a man would want to make the country ungovernable for himself. Doesn't make any sense right?

The irony of the matter is that these persons see GEJ as "the saviour". A man under who's administration as early as 2014 had already lost over 13,000 lives of innocent Nigerians to the dreaded group-

I'm sure if the attack had stopped by now, some would go as far as saying he has called his "boys" to order.

Appointments of Northerners:
The painful thing we've noticed in this nation is the situation where merit is sacrificed on the alter of federal character. I'm from the school of thought that believe that whoever the cap fits should wear it. At a time when even a single minister of the federal Republic have not been appointed, people are already crying fowl and divided along ethnic lines. Just a few persons have been appointed so far, so what does it matter that they are mostly northerners. Allow PMB to land before crucifixion.

Delay in appointment of ministers:
With the fast tracked appointments in the previous administrations, see where that has gotten us to so far... Nigeria have produced some really corrupt persons in the name of "ministers". I need not mention names. Every administration with its style. Let the man work!...and remember, he is not in breach of any law by the delayed appointments.

Relocation of suspected Boko Haram Prisoners to Enugu:
For heaven's sakes, the prison these persons were relocated to is a federal facility... Does it matter where the prisoners come from? If their presence is a threat to the state, will it be a lesser threat to wherever they are taken to from there? Is it not still within the Nigerian state? Or is the lives of a particular group of citizenry more important than another?? Let's wake up and think objectively.

Islamization of Nigeria :
Let's not even start with this as this is the most absurd argument I've ever seen an educated person make.

Conclusion:
Who ever is in power and what ever action is taken, idle minds will always talk. Let's keep praying for this administration as well as the country as large. God bless Nigeria.

But OP hope you know GEJ was accused of almost all these things. He was accused of directly or indirectly sponsoring BH and that he wanted to destroy the north. I believe you agreed with this assertion then. So if some people now believe Buhari has a hand in this how are they different from you back then?
Whoever the cap fits? I hope you're not trying to say the cap fits our northern brothers more than the south?
Buhari knew he was going to be the president like four months ago. Even before he was sworn in he was seen attending to emissaries from all over the world. Those that couldn't come he went there to see them so tell me how it was impossible to have known who he wanted to work with. Is he expecting G7 to send people down to him? Or is he expecting some angels? If he doesn't want to work with ministers let him say so so we know who to hold accountable for the present state of our economy.
