Submission of transcript is compulsory after PI, but necessary after scaling through assessment centre especially if you didn't submit an unofficial/photo copy during documentation—just so they don't stall on scheduling you for PI. Ideally it should be sent directly from your school.

Invitation for what exactly? if it's for the test, you really need to. But if it's for AC or PI, you "should" be able to talk your way through.

So there's this post somewhere on this thread about (some departments in) Advisory unit accepting only people that have excellent O' Level results (A's all through and all). It is wrong. My best result in O' Level was a C4, and I was able to complete the recruitment process.
My point is, as long as you meet the basic requirements for the unit/department you want to get into, you will be fine.
I'm saying this because I was a little put off by that post, I hope others won't be.
