Don't u knw wat is called rational num? The equation for 12 is simply correct and I can prove it to u mathematically.
9 + 9/√9 = 9 + ( 9/√9 *√9/√9)
This gives 9 + 9 √9/9 = 9 +√9 = 9+3=12

I can prove it to u mathematically that it is very correct.
√9! - 9/9 can b prove as follows; note that the sign "!" means factorial
So √9!= 3! = 3*2*1 =6
Therefore 6 - 9/9 = 6 - 1 = 5

I disagree with the 5 o'clock. If u calculate that expression it will not give u 5 rather it will give u 601.3952191. This watch is a blunder as a engineering authority

Its lovly maths..............significance of 9 is dat 9 is d basics(foundation) in d idea behind d clock.

The one representing 5 is not correct, because 9! are under square root, the factorial did not cover the square root 9 , looking for root 9 factorial cannot give you 5.

Meanwhile i give you applaud for the innovative post.

I can't believe this, so if you divide 18/3 the square root of 9 the result is 12?. let me see other view.

If antilog9bar according to u is 1, then that of 7,oclock is not correct if u follw d rule of BODMAS. It means that 9-3+1=5. I stand to be corrected please

The one for 5 o'clock is wrong the root 9 should be in bracket so as not to evaluate 9 factorial first.

Where/How did you see/get (-3)?
It's only √(9)i that will give -3 in which case complex notation "i" represent √(-1) and √9i will be treated as √(9) x √(-1)...
All the equations are correct for all the hours.
The pic is also very stale...over 5years ago
