Speaking as someone who has lived in the North...most Fulanis are just as peaceful as you and me.

Yes there are crises...and yes...some of them are violent. But that does not mean that violence is their exclusive preserve. (Other tribes too have trobule makers....and tribal crises do happen in this country that does not involve Fulani).

A big part of the Fulani problem is that thanks to increased populations, and the Sahara expanding down from the North due to climate change...the land is not enough for both cattle rearer and farmer...hence the crisis everywhere.(iN 1963...we were 55million. today...we are 170 million....most of whom live in the rural areas.)

Which is why govts at state and LG level should be active in sorting out such land related problems.

All these statistics and peace talk won't change my mind about them. Yes I was born in Kaduna and I live there long enough to know them and now, I'm currently serving in the west.
