I just dey laugh. Firstly, a graduate should not accept 20 000naira, it's completely wrong but when you spend more than a year at home and your coursemates start getting choice jobs and you have none in sight, then you would know that 20 000 naira is better than zero naira.

In my job searching days, I went as far as Benin Republic due to frustration for a job of 300 000 CFA thanks to my French speaking skills, on resumption salary was slashed to 150 000 CFA (N50 000) for flimsy excuse. In saner climes, I would have rejected it and returned to job searching in 9ja but I'm glad I didn't. Gained a lot of technical experience as an engineer there, spent over 9 months and returned as soon as I got a better offer. It's four years now. Hopefully in 5 years time, I would have saved enough to start my own engineering firm. grin

Fact is, 20k is rubbish money but if you know you will definitely gain SOLID experience and won't mind the stress please go for it, if not just sit at home jare. There are many small hustles you can do that will give you that amount.

Answer lies in the phrase in bold.

Shakes head for Nigerian Graduates of Today.

Way back 2005 I reluctantly took up a job of 30K.

In 2015/16 people are considering taking up a job of 20K.

I weep for this country. The youths of today are really suffering.

Please try and see whether you wont turn blue black in a week. I earn less than that and the pay is not regular. Never despise the days of little beginning. IREE OOO!

i once secured a job of 15k per month in an I.T firm, though the place is trekable from my house. i accepted the job because of the experience to gain and guess what, it paid off. i moved from layman in I.T to having CCNA and preparing for CCNP MCSA soon, these are top class certification in IT. I think a fresh graduate, one need to have a goal or career, then plan your movement around it, it will pay off later
