I partly agree with oloyede that jonathan government tried to destroy many institutions.

But to be candid with ourselves most super traditional rulers are not good leaders. This country destroyed during their time. I can remember that in 80s (like 1983) flight ticket from ilorin to kaduna was 40 naira and from ilorin to lagos was 30 naira, but today things are been so destroyed.
That time train was also working.

But today bokos, kidnapping, armed robbery, great poverty, every thing bad are the order of the day.

"This divided" clearly recognizes that Nigeria is certainly divided along the fault lines mentioned but was taken to another level under GEJ.

To put things in perspective, MKO Abiola cleared elections in the North against a Bashir Tofa. OBJ won massively in the same north against GMB even though he was "rejected" in his own SW then. But as soon as Nigerians saw through Jona's clandestine motives, the people he played the religion and ethnic cards with served him the hot dish.

Let's hope the SS/SE people have learnt a lesson with GEJ's miscalculation.

Most SS people have gotten over the election blues, except of course the SE who are hell bent on making us see how the rest of the country "ganged up" against our brother.

the only time Nigeria wasn't divided was when the North and the Southwest held key positions in the Government.......am really sorry for those who take these information from people like you hook line and sinker......

Yoruba says "ti aba baa eraan Wi ao si ba eraan wi bakan na" (both side of the issue should be looked into).

If jonathan is criticize for how he handled things when in government, those northern leaders that behaved as if they were behind boko Haram that time also handled boko issue badly.

Jonathan reacted to what was on the ground and took some steps that were not so palatable.
