can you imagine this zoo called Nijeriya? the largest refinery in the world(jamnagar refinery) refines about 660,000 barrels a day and cost 3.4billion dollars, mean while in the zoo, we want to build 2 refineries with a combined output of 400,000 bpd at a cost of 4billion dollars, an extra 600million dollars for a deficit of 260,000 barrels. I think,people blamed jona because he was sopos to repair all the refineries so that Nigeria will stop exporting crude for refining.But instead he did not repair them.This brought massive corruption by the companies claiming fuel importation.Do u know that if our four refineries were to be working there will be no need for rent seeking?

Don't you think the Ability for All four refineries to be functional wasn't really beingcontrolled by just being a President, yes his authority means a lot, but there are stakeholders that would rather hinder his ambition of putting them all in good shape all because of their selfish reasons, he was only able to ditch them towards the end of his Tenure which is the result of the progress we are already seeing, and this is why the oil marketers are fighting to make sure that they can enjoy same under this new administration and if they do, then The Refinries is as good as being in the same epileptic state as the past administration

All price control mechanisms need boards- like the Monetary Policy Committee that regulates the nation's interest rates.
As long as the board's constituted it can also regulate the price BY RAISING IT!
So there won't even be need to remove subsidy- just set prices at 'real market' prices, same as interest rates.
Of course, all that he said is actually balderdash, otherwise since GEJ then illegally changed prices twice he might (should) be liable to face jail time; but more to the point, Dogara should then call for prices to return to the 2011 value of N65.
