OXYGEN01:It is so unfortunate When you give a fool a privileged, he will definitely misuse it by expanding his foolishness to a greater length. Don't forget Barstar.d, this wonderful forum you use in spilling trash was created by an intelligent Nigerian. Show some appreciation. |

That guy is a crazy ghanian lunatic that keeps antagonizing nigerians everywhere ever since he caught his fiancee mounting a nigerian guy. He is frustrated and at the same time jobless. He does nothing but stroll around nairaland insulting nigerians and so far on this thread his hands have being felt. |

TRAPQUEEN1:do not reply that guy. He is still suffering from the post trauma disorder of seeing his fiancee on top a nigerian guy. The truth is he can never be nigerian and i can easily be ghanian by banging a beautiful ghanian girl to submission. So why is he complaining? Oxygen01 is a terrible loser, a single, jobless, depressed ghanian (Ghanians are not generally lazy)that have taken up an hate flag against Nigeria. For the above stated reason. |

Gurgle:Let me sum it up for you. Firstly not all tribes in Ghana are matrilineal. It's only the Ashanti tribe of Ghana. How this came about started from the Royal family. They believed that a mother's child is her child while a Father's child may not be his child. So by transferring wealth etc on the women's side in the royal family. The money and riches were kept in the family. Basically this was to prevent 'bastards' or children that were not really of royal blood to gain access to the royal family's wealth. Back in the day there was no such thing as DNA test etc so they did this to prevent outsiders from getting access to their riches. Well this was what I was told and I also read about it a couple of years back. But honestly speaking it's not really a big thing, perhaps if you marry into a royal family then the whole matrilineal may be emphasized but otherwise for the most part the dad is still the head. The kids belong to both parents and you can inherit whatever your folks give to you. |

ucheokpara100:100 mil old Ghana cedis is about 10000 Ghana cedis now. Which is about 568892.99 naira or 2860 dollars. I won't lie to you am not sure what kind of business you may do with such an amount. Iamord and captainswag225 could you please help him out? It depends what you want and are looking for. I would suggest Accra since it is the capital and the hub so I think that would be your best bet business wise. |

ucheokpara100:Honestly I am not sure but I can find out for you. I know that a lot of places take 2 years or a years rent in advance and the shop rent would obviously vary depending on location. I would suggest that you first pay Ghana a visit and gather your own research and then see if you will be able to manage there. |

Op I've asked Ghanaians here before and they could not assist, but how do you make fufu and light soup ( my fave Ghana in food) where can I find the recipe if you don't know? |
| Re: Ask A Ghanaian Anything by Batman123: 10:09am On Jul 26, 2015 |
londoner:https://africanfoodie./2012/07/27/fufu-light-soup/ It has pictures so it will help you a lot. It's easy to make Ghanaian light soup but for fufu you will have to buy the packaged fufu since you won't be able to make it the traditional way. For the soup. I make it the same way as the link provided however I put my meat/ chicken in 1 pot and cook it with the spices and grated ginger for extra flavor and leave it to cook. Then when it's well done I add a little hot water with a bit of tomato paste to simmer for a while. I then add the blended ingredients and add more hot water to it then leave it to boil. I also discard the boiling water that was used to boil the tomatoes and onions. I prefer to use boiled water from the kettle. For the pepper you can also use the thin long ones preferably the red or the orange. |
