Nigeria =N500 only!

I made my collections from that guy at TBS,you know him?...lol.He got plenty classics.

Friends have told me that the books are pirated copies and a sabotage of their authors works but they don't look pirated-same in every way.

The books are same like the one I bought which I just uploaded,their paper quality and print is same.Sometimes I opened the pack myself,sealed tight;hence I have been wondering why the extra gaping difference in cover price especially in Nigeria.

Does anyone know please?

They are pirated but not printed in Nigeria. They are mostly printed in china, so they look original but the author makes no dime from it.

When buying a book, you don't only pay for the printing cost, part of the money goes to the author. But in Nigerian, the authors share is waved for you, reason you get it cheaper.But that is stealing. Anytime you buy a pirated book, you stole from someone.

Logically I cant justify the huge difference as even the cost of importation cannot make up such difference

The huge price differential alone is enough to tell u it's from pirates of the Caribbean.. If not, u'ld have to go to some renowned bookstores before u can get a sniff at some of these books.

But what about some sneakers we see on Complex magazine with some costing as much as $100,but same wouldnt be more than 12000 naira in Nigeria,and original from reputable boutique that imports from America. I guess they subsidize some goods that come down to Nigeria

The people in your area are the ones who don't read books thats why books sellers sell hints magazine instead of good books to you guys.... gifted hands can be found in most road side book stores in my own area.

They buy it from some book fare or auction or yardsale overseas and sell Amazon price for us. They should read the book of proverbs. Try Laterna bookshop tho. They are good
