Hi fellow nairalanders. Pls I need tips on what I need to know as well as the resources involved in building a simple android app. There are tons of info on this on the net and they are quite confusing, will appreciate if an actual app builder could give me the fundamental tips. Thanks.

My friend, the best way to go about this is to learn programming. For basic Android apps Java sounds cool.
My best advice is to visit www.edx.org or www.coursera.com to take courses in Programming and Mobile app development.
