I really don't get the motive for going after Dasuki, even the accusations of corruption are rather vague...I think it's personal, more like the longstanding beef between Yar’Adua and ElRufai

Dasuki is very very influential, he's basically IBB and Gusau's front man

Dasuki already knew the name of the game the minute news of his sack came out. He restricted himself indoors. I don't think they had any other option.

I don't think this operation is personal. Dasuki obviously witheld vital info from Buhari's war on terror before he was sacked.
And if you think it's personal, the enmity between Buhari and the so-called northern elite and power-bloc is not new. It has been for decades. They have never been favourably disposed to him. Despite all their so-called power and influence, they couldn't prevent him from emerging as president.
The era of impunity is over. Nobody is above the law. No sacred cows.

Even the emissaries should get ready for their own arrests.

Let them fume, they had a hand in destroying this country and i pray that nemesis catches up with them. The military establishment riggeg Alfonsin into power in Argentina thinking he would play ball and help to cover up their tracts full of skeleton but he turned out to be their nemesis.
