jaja of opobo was a poor man compared to madam tinubu. i have seen his pictures and his houses. madam tinubu had dangote money.
sukot how can you compare jaja of opobo with madam tinubu? Jaja of opobo was a legend. He is our history, a reminder of what happened when the Europeans first came to Africa, for trade, slavery trade. He was a ruler of people and great man. People like him remind us of our heritage. Pls don't compare him with madam tinubu. He is in a class of his own

There's no need to be sentimental about Obasanjo's comment on GEJ. OBJ is experienced and wise enough to advise any Nigerian president. Advising is not the same as controlling. The true is that if OBJ had done badly as military HOS, he would have bungled the chance of SW in Nigeria political equation. GEJ also had his opportunity but he bungled it. No force would have stopped his second term if he had done otherwise. Not even all the Boko harams in the world!
Re: Niger Delta Will Suffer For Jonathan’s Actions In Office – Obasanjo by kotv: 7:39am On Jul 18, 2015
The yorubas are keen to giving advise when they aren't asked for it. I wonder how a blind tribe can continue giving advise to others yet they lack behind in what it is they advise on. anybody can follow the political path yoruba choose. ss could become a slave to the north in order to be used, dumped and giving crumps as compensation, we choose not to because we actually have dignity for ourselves. must everyone follow the path yoruba choose. keep your advise to yourselves and use it for yourselves. charity begins at home.

GOATandYAMtheory:
The ex-president said he couldn’t have helped Jonathan to do his job as Nigeria President after helping him to secure the position.

He said, “I became the Head of State because of my performance in the war front. If General Gowon had not sent me to the war front, he would not know whether I could perform or not. He sent me to the war front and because I performed, we both shared the credit. But if I had failed, he would not have shared the condemnation with me. I would have taken that alone.

“I believe that the opportunity that afforded itself in 2010 was for somebody from the minority to on his self esteem become the President of Nigeria. We should never lose such opportunity. What he did with that opportunity is entirely up to him. What he did or did not do with it will reflect for a long time on that part of the country. There is no particular person who got there without the people.”

OBJ, please leave GEJ and ensure you help PMB to deliver all his campaign promises.

Thank you!
Otherwise, you will become the sponsor of failures. Boko Haram attacks have increased in intensity since May 29 and the two months Buhari said he will stop Boko will soon expire on July 29. The Chibok girls have not been found. Where is BBOG?
PassingShot:
It's unfortunately true that the minority bungled their opportunity to impress for future considerations. As things stand now, they can only wail while watching how things should be done.
e.g. how to increase the frequency of Boko Haram attacks in the North by removing military checkpoints. About 600 people have been killed by Boko Haram since May 29. *Changing the president cannot stop insurgency unless the affected state governors , LGA chairmen, traditional rulers, etc cooperate with the president,at least by giving him information, since they are closer to the hotspots than Abuja.

Nigeria get landlord na. Yoruba na tenants like all others
Hausa/Fulani na your landlord? They have ruled Nigeria for 38 years and are still ruling because of their exaggerated population which Boko Haram is decimating now.

Chaii!! Omo!!! They have finished Obasanjo and Passingshot. I never knew before now that passing shot is a son of devil until someone just said it now.
I never knew hitherto he was darkened in soul. I've always held him in some honour until his show of insanity and uncanny display of arrogance on this thread. He now disgusts me to no end. That's why so e folks here refer to him as passingshiit

I expect a backlash from this post though cool grin
You are so dull like your father Obj. We sold ourselves cheaply to the Hausa Fulani and you are supporting that assertion. So unfortunate that our people are so ignorant that they even praise their oppressors. What a nation?

Sensationalism! Where did he make such statement in the interview? The useless biafranistanoids would stop at nothing to tear Nigeria apart, especially driving a wedge between the SW and SS! I am sure they are smarter than the ibos so, you can lie all you want about Obj or the Yorubas - the facts speak for themselves! Nigeria kicked the as.s of biafra to oblivion, hence you can't crying for more than 50 years! LWKMD! grin grin

I.e yoruba did not have any thing common with ibo, rather they have with hausas.

1) 70 percent of yorubas are muslim.

Before GEJ came to the world, it has been designed by God that he will occupy all those positions he held and others that will follow. God-father or not your destiny is guaranteed by God

I don't give a fvck what your opinion of me is. I have watched and read so many threads and posts of yours and your fellow secessionists which are full of hate, abuse and divisiveness. You guys have never hidden the fact that you hate Nigeria just because PMB is now the president, so why should I hide my dislike for you and your region?

You're happy at every bad news blaming such on Buhari while every good development is attributed to your god GEJ even we all know he was a failed president.

With all your unhidden and undisguised hate for Yoruba, Hausa and Islam, why do you expect anyone of these tribes and religion to sound patronizing to you guys?

You want your ego to be masssaged but you do not pretend or hide your hatred for a certain people! I say fvck you and your click.

I repeat, you guys are a minority and may NEVER get another opportunity at the presidency. If you like wail till eternity, the facts cannot change.

Any university that invites a crooked chimp like obj to address the nation so-called educated hopeful is a rogue one. I listened to the vc talking on tv,she sounded more like a pepper selling market woman. A woman that believes in a retarded rogue like a obj.

One would have thought the so called learned will know better and castigate the nation's traitors to the dungeon, not giving them lime light and corrupting the young who will embrace crookedness as norms.

Now you're feeling the heat. This was the same guy who insulted the person of GEJ, his entire government and all his policies. You were amongst those (you were at one time a leader) shouting on your illusion of apportioning various posts to Jonathan's kindred.

I've been observing you. Your day of reckoning is coming.

In trying to pacify the yearning and aspirations of those who feel marginalised, Jonathan initiated a National Dialogue and issues affecting the very fabric of our existence were discussed. Yet your co travelers castigated, insulted, rubbi.shed that effort. Now you're seeing the consequences and you come here to write this rubb.ish?
