From a reliable source, it has been confirmed that PMB may have forwaded Engr. Buba's Galadima to security agencies for clearance in preparation of appointing him into his cabinet, despite Engr. Galadima falling out with him. Buhari might have counted on Buba Galadima's principle, frankness and integrity thereby selecting him to represent Yobe state in his cabinet. Buba Galadima was appointed National Secretary of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) party, formed in the run-up to the 2011 national elections as a leading platform for former military ruler Gene ral Muhammadu Buhari. Buba Galadima is an engineer by training He participated in the 1994/5 Constitutional Conference. Galadima was Director General of the Nigeria Maritime Authority (NMA) from 1996 to 1998. Buba Galadima later fallout with Gen. Buhari after the 2011 elections and retired from active politics. He supported Kwakwanso during the APC presidential primaries in 2014 in Lagos.
