Gordon Obuah, the ex-CSO to President Jonathan, who was arrested by the SSS on the authorization of President Buhari is dead, the Trent Newspapwer is reporting. The former CSO, who was arrested on the 16th of June, is said to have passed away on the 20th.

If the reports are true, the death is sure to draw a lot of alarm from the rest of the country and increase the public focus on Buhari’s ruthless years as military president. Unconfirmed reports suggest that during his period in custody, Obua was held in an underground dungeon and denied access to his family, doctors, and lawyers, despite there being no clear charges for his arrest. The DSS is yet to confirm or deny the allegation.

Died or he was murdered to prevent him from talking?

Prisoners have the right to medical treatment, for govt. to detain this man and refuse him access to his doctor is a bad sign on the type of governance we are to have in four years.

Nigerians and rumour mongering, what kind of useless media house would not ascertain their information before going to the press. Credible information has it that he was on self imposed hunger strike, fainted, hospitalised, recovered, and has since been returned back to custody until he cooperates with ongoing interrogation.
