Yes it is now a bad thing, at this present time. Give me the name of just one country that has been helped by the US and I will tell you what the country now suffers because of the aid they got. I believe PMB and the traveling crew are wise enough not to negotiate blindly but they need to begin to look inwards for the solution to their problems, just like Fashola did in the ebola days. Relying on the Western world in a time like this will plunge us backwards to the days before October 1st. This is the major goal of the capitalist - our resources,our loyalty and freedom.
