How they grade this thing is ridiculous.
A friend and I were told that we are ineligible whereas she got 254 gunning for LL;B(LAW).

Two pals with 210 and 214 for Mathematics and Cell biology were declared eligible.

It affected mostly non-yorubas.

I disagree with you. Don't make it look like its a tribal thing. Ordinarily mathematics and cell biology cut off are usually low. And u know right from time unilag uses catchment just like most universities with the exception of unibadan and two other schools.

Evening to lovely and prestigious applicants of university of lagos, its realy getting me worried as many candidates are aving issues with printing out their payment advise slip. Kindly note dah d fault is basically from unilag and jamb as unilag is suffering from fear of catering for 30,000 candidates who passed and choosed unilag as most preferred first choice. In other to avoid what apened in fixing of cut off marks last year, dere has been a consensus between jamb and unilag with oda schools having high number of students to possibly distribute aspirants. Kindly visit jamb office instead of cits to confirm ur new institution where u gonna need to write post utme before its gonna b too late. Face law ke. The people making laws in Nigeria don't get to face it. These laws are meant for you and I. So just calm down and pray For GOD to touch Dibu's heart. All this facing the law you're talking about won't do anything. Or do you have money to Sue Jamb, Minister of Education, Unilag and Dibu all at once? Even Dangote can't. So chill. To think that you swapped Lasu for them makes it more painful i know. Have they re-directed you to any Uni as at now?
BTW; I swapped them for lasu after jamb, i thank God for me. Na this story i for they tell my people? Say dem transfer me go Borno.

Jamb should have waited till next year and made sure candidates are well informed. Their intention might be good but the timing of the execution is 100% wrong.

The worse thing is that there is no Integrity in the execution or should I say its not transparent. What's the merit cut off used for medicine, what's the catchment. this one someone with a low score is eligible while the other with high score isnt.

exactly...even people having above 260 were declared ineligible! But will the same thing be done if candidates apply for Diploma?

Pls its totally jamb fault. Unilag has no power to say no. Jamb is empowered constitutionally. If they wan use their foolish power, there is nothing unilag can do.

same thing here o..just checked for my nigga going for finance just like me..turns out he is eligible and am not and funny I had 2 marks more than him.....am even wondering the criteria involved in picking who's eligible and who's not

If they dnt do anytin, I'm jst gonna write yabatech exam, I don't care d skool jamb puts me, I prefer polytechnic in lagos to travelling 8 hours because say I won go skool..
