Blood of Jesus!!!!!! this needs to go to front page. as for me, provided i see any kids outside and around my car, before I disengage the handbrakes to drive off, i make sure i do a head count of the kids and ensure that they are all in a place where i can see them. I am freaking scared of this kind of thing. If my kids are outside playing, I will never move from that spot until I can see them clearly. |

UrennaNkoli:dont be too sure. I have heard stories. My mother used to be an orthopaedic nurse (bone and tissue surgery things) in a federal government hospital while I was growing up so I have also seen things. |

obstead200:One may say you're paranoid but that's a great practice! I remember back in High Sch a friend told me a ghastly story of how his neighbour fatally ran over his kid while backing out of his driveway. Decades later I still have shivers up my spine anytime I remember - even though my job requires i see such gruel on a routine basis! I've definitely not had a kid in my wheel - thank God! However a dog got stuck in the wheel well of my older car, a Suburban. Should i have moved even a bit things would have gone south, fast! |
