People tend to get it all wrong when they start expecting everyone to be just like them and get pained when they realize their opinions can't be understood.

One of the reasons I don't try to force my stand on issues on here.

Well, like you pointed out earlier....some of us do not understand the concept of speaking up and allowing others the freedom to do theirs.
When a person shouts you down for expressing an opinion, they are merely projecting their insecurities, I do not bother engaging....except I'm bored and unable to sleep.

Whether online or offline, it is not advisable to shove your opinion down the throat of others. Allowing them the freedom to express themselves without fear of intimidation is best practice.

Please, be who you are and say what you feel when and wherever you feel like it.
