1. I don't think they re soldiers, but just performers (maybe a choir) in military costume. (Their hair style, beards, earings and grooming gives that away)

2. How come they have the heavy Yoruba accent and Sunny Ade's voice. I got a feeling they were maiming to the real song.

They sure did try though!
