Hello everyone, I am a recent graduate that just completed Nysc. Going by the recent uncertainty in the private sector, I am considering a career in Lecturing. I need your opinions. Career progress, remuneration etc Thanks |

damzy88:Pursue a Masters degree, make sure u aim for distinction. Build ur network and apply for a graduate asst or asst lect position.. Make sure the profs reference u.. Once u've bagged the MSC, u should vigorously pursue a PHD in the same institution, U should land a lecturing job like this. Do not relent, its very possible. The pay of a lecturer is ok, and it could rise when u become a professor. But it takes years. |

You need a strong passion for research and to impart knowledge. An MSC is a step in the right direction, ensure you attain a PhD grade at least a 3.5. My 3 cents |
