Scrolling down to read comment on this on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/2463850/timaya-throws-shades-mtv-base

I saw his his post claiming to sell data for affordable prices - he goes by the name MEGADATA

I called him up and he explained the way it works (which wasnt different from regular way data guys sell)

After sending the recharge card denomination he requested for, i sent him phone number to activated the data

Now for good 5 days, he kept blaming the network for the inability of me getting the data amount i paid for. This is the first time i would ever experience such claim of delay in close to ayear of purchasing data!!

After making enquiries from folks, i found out he is a BIG scammer and is now using using a popular and all-Nigerian platform that Nairaland represents to defraud innocent Nigerians

This is his Nairaland ID https://www.nairaland.com/megadata

N.B: Before anyone blame one for trying to pay less for the amount of data he claims to sell, consider the issue of high cost of internet in Nigeria, especially for young organisations like our that depends so much on the internet to provide legitimate services for clients including subscribing for staff members in offices and virtual location, then you will know why one would want to grab 'opportunity' of lower cost of purchasing internet data
