Hey guys,

Let me describe my first day at work at PwC.
Caveat: Don't quote me or ask questions, I'm under a strict confidentiality clause.

Please I would kindly like to know if we would be posted on the very first day of resumption or it's till the end of the training.

None of the above. The training is for 6 weeks. The first 4 would be focused on PwC as a whole after which you would be posted to your different BUs. The other 2 weeks would then br used to prepare you for your jobs.
Hope this has answered your question.

I entered 3rd mainland bridge traffic yesterday for d first time in my life, God punish satan lol.. u leave office 7pm get home 10pm, talkless of when you'll sleep o.. u wake up 4am leave 5am get to d office 7am lol because of 100k per annum house rent difference..

My lol means it's not a funny matter.. sad
grin. My entire training went like this:
Leave office by 6 pm, get home by 10pm sleep b4 15 minutes has passed , wake up by 4:20am, get to work by 7:30, and spend the whole day looking like a Zombie and guzzling coffee in hope that it would revive me, but it didnt. cry
Also I didnt follow the training at all. I wished that we could carry over sleep. You will get used to it cos you will be in situations where you close by 11pm. Goodluck

My dear, they wouldn't. Not all levels got their pay increased. Those that came in last year can testify to this.

grin tongue. My dear get ready because you will have a lot of your junoirs by age at least 2-3 levels above you that would be in charge of you on jobs. Age matters not here.

. As for the sending, you cant be sent to make coffee and the photocopying thing is by choice. You can refuse but politely. And get ready to call your fathers age mate by their first name. Na this one hard passss.

To the best of my knowledge all levels got their pay increased. However, the percentage increase is different across board.
For the incoming executive trainees....i wouldn't know if they will get a review!

Good to hear, though, with all reviews done last year by the other biggies, influx of their employees to PwC is increasing at a geometric rate......

I stumbled on several Kpmg threads, and I didn't see their employees dishing out certain information meant for internal consumption to the world. They hardly even comment.

I have also not seen a thread that staff come out and start discussing events that happened at their organizations AGM to the world, especially when the AGM was for some specific set of people, for certain reason. It may not be clients information, but common sense should still be applied.
