i think baba should leave GEJ alone, his real reason of attacking jonathan is that he refused baba,s choice of a successor. |

obailala:I sincerely disagree with you, not because you're a staunch supporter of OBJ or from Southwest where majority of the people think of themselves alone, but because you know the truth and choose to hide it. As for you, OBJ is popular today, with the west and some African nations who are bent on ensuring that Nigeria is destroyed at all costs. In his eight years as President of Nigeria, OBJ succeeded in ceding our ancestral land to Cameroon and rendered us homeless, claiming implementation of ICJ ruling which has never been obeyed elsewhere in the world, all in a bid to impress his masters. Many are dead others are in agonies, but OBJ is in his ancestral land talking from the sides of his mouth like a parrot which has eaten too much pepper. Take it or leave it, either OBJ or his children will pay for it. |

Genius100: Wonder why Obasanjo and you are fearfully avoiding mentioning Yaradua's name. It is on record that Yaradua canceled Obasanjo's railway contracts and paid millions of dollars to the Chinese as penalty to the applause of unthinking herds then. Why is Obasanjo afraid of a late Yaradua who undid all his works and blaming Jonathan at every corner? Shame! |

Reference:http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/fg-commences-passenger-service-on-warri-ajaokuta-railway-soon/75871/ The work commenced in the IBB days and was abandoned without any progress. The 276km ajaokuta -warri rail project was revived under OBJ as part of OBJ's rail modernisation project and a large chunk of the line (over 90%) was built by julius berger before it was abandoned again. As part of the modernisation project, the abuja to kano standard rail project was also awarded by OBJ but it was cancelled when Yaradua took over due to the fraud in the contract award. After Yaradua's death, GEJ revived the project again and completed the remaining 22km of the ajaukuta line connecting it to warri. GEJ also re-awarded and completed the abuja to kaduna standard rails. These are presently the only 2 standard rail lines in west africa. My point is simple, why not follow the masterplan and give Nigerians modern trains?... why did they have to deviate after the abuja-kaduna rail and instead, start renovating the 1903 obsolete narrow gauge rails between lagos and kano which cannot support new trains?... Now we have the useless archaic trains which take 2 days to travel from lagos to kano, yet people celebrate this nonsense by saying it is air-conditioned. Meanwhile the trains are already derailing all over the place. ![]() |

Excellentmind:Bro, first of all, i am from the south east. The only difference between both of us however is that I have chosen to be objective in my approach in national issues. Your blabbing about south westerners and Cameroon and ICJ etc is more than enough evidence to confirm your lack of objectivity. You do not deserve a further response.. Good day! |
