I don't think they are fulanis but the Okene boys. I am presently serving in kogi state and not that far away from Okene. sometimes ago the bus I boarded was attacked and they shot at us but to God be the glory nothing happened to any of us in the bus. This same zincidence had occurred to many corps members. At times it happens in broad daylight or in evening. na God dey save person for this life. congrats Sis

1.there is no proof that these Delta bus was attacked by Fulani herdsmen.
2.that part of town has been an haven for armed bandits and the bus is a easy pick from a considerable distance.thank God they were able to escape.

This is an unjust accusation and finger pointing, even the mod/supermod that moved this thread to the frontpage is bias or just wanna don't know how to go about his/her job, topics like this needs to be scrutinized before moving it to front page as it furthers the disunity of this nation as we can see from various users post, from the story, they were apparently moving in their bus with speed, then some people popped out outta bush and attacked them, some/one of the attackers probably dressed up in hausa/fulani attire which any body can do from any part of the country and they were all adjudged to be fulani herdsmen, were they rearing their cattle and all of sudden started shooting on them moving bus?,the mod even rephrase the topic to be fulani herdmen/arm-robbers, that means you aren't sure of what ya posting. This detribalization and discrimination of Fulanis or other tribes should stop, no tribes or ethnic groups in Nigeria or any part of this planet without their Good, Bad and the 'Ugly'. The taming of the bad and the ugly is what we should do by supporting and assisting the goverment, but instead we'll be abusing and raining insults on them like untrained kids. So bad.

They are one and the same thing and they usually attack at night or in the wee hours of the morning and before you ask me how i know, its by their somewhat distinctive physical attributes, the way they dress, the language they speak and sometimes when they attempt to speak pidgin, the accent!! You have to have been a victim to appreciate this fact, many of these cattle herders don't stick to sherpading alone at night, their attacks barely leaves anyone alive, I was lucky

u may be correct that igbira boys rob on that route but my experience on two occasions with victims of robbery attacks on that road, they confirmed they were robbed by fulani herdsmen.but the thing is whether fulani or igbira the law enforcement agents have to raise their game and stem this menace.it has made this road a horror to passengers, some of the victims have even been raped in the course of this attack.we pray the communities along this route also join in bringing out the bad ones amongst them.
