U235weapongrade:I guess it's his reward for gunning down Ironsi to permanently take power to the North. Ironically his junior, Shehu Yar'Udua (a muslim core Northerner), was chosen ahead of him to be OBJ's deputy. Since then anyone only became HoS/President if tolerated/allowed by the Northern elite. The Likes of Awo & MKO couldn't be tolerated and they never became one. |
