Nigeria’s ever-buzzing social media just seems to come up with another way of expressing its creativity and sense of humour. This time around, the subject of the latest social media taunt is Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole. Social media users in the country have taken it out on Governor Oshiomole following his statement that a minister in the past administration stole as much as $6 million, without any proof. A ‘certificate’ was created for him to acknowledge is “achievement”. The issuer of the certificate should be issued certificate of stupidity cos Oshiomole is in the know as a member of NEC on the issue of the missing fund though may not be accurate. The person issueing the certificate, who is he to have claimed the allegation false, declaring the accused decent? A Governor? A minister in the last administration? A member of NEC? 2 Likes |
