Want to share these short story with you guys.

You may have come across it but I just want us to share our views .

SO TOUCHING There was a farmer who had a horse and a
goat. One day, the horse became ill. So he called the
veterinarian, who said, "Well, your horse has a virus. He
must take this medicine for three days. I'll come back on the
third day and if he's not better, we will have to kill her."
Standing nearby, the goat listened closely to their
conversation. The next day, they gave the horse the
medicine and left. The goat approached the horse and said,
“Be strong my friend. Get up or else they're going to kill
you!” On the second day, they again gave the horse the
medicine and left. The goat came back and said, "Come on
buddy, get up or else you're going to die! Come on, I'll help
you get up. Let's go! One, two, three..." On the third day,
they came to give the horse the medicine and the vet said,
"Unfortunately,we're going to kill her tomorrow.
Otherwise, the virus might spread and infect the other
horses." After they left, the goat approached the horse and
said, "Listen pal, it's now or never! Get up, come on! Have
courage! Come on... Get up... Get up... That's it, slowly...
Great! Come on, one, two, three... Good, good. Now faster,
come on... Fantastic! Run, run more! Yes! Yes! Yes! You did
it, you're a champion!" All of a sudden, the owner came
back, saw the horse running in the field and began
shouting, "It's a miracle! My horse is cured. We must have a
grand party." He called his servant, "John, kill and prepare
the goat and let's celebrate"
Question 1, what theme should be given to the story?
2, If you were the goat how will you feel and what would be your reaction?
3, any food for thought from the short story?

We will start from the basics

Awwww. Shît happens you know. The goat was paid in such a manner it didn't deserve..

Unfortunately, stuffs like this happened in the real world where someone tries to help another person and pays dearly for it. Take for example this story I heard about a family traveling back to Lagos after the Xmas holiday. This man drove past a woman who guised as a pregnant woman. The wife who couldn't bare seeing a pregnant woman in such condition and in such an environment, called out her husband to turn around so they help the woman. They did only for armed men to come out from their hideout and demand for their son (only child pa say). They were reluctant till the armed men threatened to kill all three of them. They gave their son to the armed men and rushed straight down to the nearest police station (wasn't easy to locate as they didn't know that area) and returned to that place only to see the remains of their son without head, intestines, etc.

In essence, I think we should mind how we assist people because the same person who may ask for you help may actually be interested in seeing you fall.
