No, I don't add egg yolk. I boil an egg separately, take off d white and then feed her d yolk. I don't add formula/milk either. She doesn't like it. Any airtight container will do but I don't get what u mean by watery when kept in d freezer? Why would u want to freeze it? I haven't tried dat option though but I once tried d room temp thingy and it didn't stay fresh for long.

There's a special small pot I keep handy for her food but sometimes converted to other uses wen d need arise.

Actually, d head contain all u need.
Omega 3 acid and all d micro/macro elements r there. Perfect for immune boosting.

As time goes on,blend d head together with beans for ur baby moimoi.

Babies can take adult milk from 1yr.

But instead of going all milk,why not try cooking with bones(yes,bone),sea food(periwinckle,lobster,shrimp etc not forgetting icefish especially d head) and veggie and give ur baby. Not only will people admire ur baby color,it will also boast their immune system thereby fighting diseases.
Believe u me this is all ur baby need. It can be in form of peppersoup so ur baby can drink d water.

Natural food any day,any time is the best for ur baby.

I certainly agree wit u especially the bones, which is mineral-rich. Egg yolk, liver, chicken, beef and fish are also good. But again one may have to be careful with some seafood cos of allergies. But other than that, its way to go

I moved over from the pregnancy thread, and has found this thread helpful. A FTM here. My baby is just 6 weeks old and has been having rashes all over her body inccluding her head...I use Ori (shear butter) for her body and johnson baby oil for her hair.
Don't no the cause of all these rashes oo. Pls I need your assistance as this whole thing is about to drive me crazy.
Secondly, my elder sister's new born 4 weeks has been stooling (over 6 times a day)..greenish stool. Pls I need your urgent response on these issues.

OK I just read again now(google), it says from one year you can introduce but it did not say it should replace their baby milk. But if you as a mother is comfortable with changing fully to cow milk I don't think there is anything bad with it but if you ask me I think give them their milk it was prepared for their age and definitely is more nutritious it's even there.

thanks a lot. tried pap with formula for him today n he took it well. at least for a first timer. I'd add crayfish once I see that this goes with his sys.

Children ar fine,I also give friso rice nd cerelac,prefers cerelac though.jero is wt d person asked u 2 add,oka baba either brown or white is guinea corn nd jero is millet.u cn do only jero cos d nutrient is higher or combine d 2,here is dominatd by hausas nd they prefer jero for children so I gave jero nd even introducd it 2 my sis in ekiti,u cn get it at sabo in oja oba,its tiny like pebbles nd d colour is ash.tk kia ma

I don't think babies can have dandruff. It is called cradle cap. What I did for my LO was, pour olive oil on his head, wait 5-10 mins and comb out with a fine tooth comb.

There is a special shampoo for it though.

pls mamas that give friso rice to their los do you give only twice a day as indicated on the tin or it doesn't matter? I just introduced it to my lo and they wrote on the tin that number of feeding per day is twice and he eats more than twice in a day. I want to give him for 2weeks before introducing another brand as adviced by a mum here.
