It was only two days ago that people were rejoicing that naira was at 199 per dollar, though I didn't meet anybody that actually exchanged at that rate This morning I went to exchange some naira and was quoted 241, this despite the CBN restriction The real value of the naira if the restriction is not in place would actually be around 280 sai ba....... |

Yesterday afternoon naira gained against the pounds and the rate is still same as at now. why is $ going up again. It seems like Nigeria economics is beyond economists. |
