The job of the populace is to draw the attention of government to their suffering and as well, pay their taxes and rates, as well as being law abiding. The job of the press is to draw the attention of both the government and the governed to situations which they both seem to forget, or are tired of. First two-and-half years in office until he joined APC, Okorocha splashed Imo state's money on building many roads and development infrastructures in the twin cities of Owerri. He was then hailed Owelle, Owelle; as he scratched a few roads then in Orlu - and left them like that uncompleted till today. Na so we see am for Imo. There are worse roads than these in Orlu. |
