President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed another Northerner, a Hausa-Fulani Lawyer from Sokoto State Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the new GMD of NNPC. He has since assumed duty. The poverty in the north is far worse than any other part of Nigeria despite their monopoly of power. Ibe Kachikwu is not a Northerner. He is from Onicha Ugbo in Aniocha north local gov. area which also happens to b my hometown. I know him nd his family. We should stop spreading hate, it won't do us any good. He owned Hints magazine nd used to write a column about him nd his family. I really enjoyed dat column.
