I don't know where to post this, so I decided to bring it to my favourite section..
Well, I work as an operative (security man) in my church.
Last week Thursday while I was on night duty, a satellite church pastor brought offering from the satellite. I called the person in charge to come and received it, he said I should collect it and keep it for him. I did. Cos of the volume of the money, I didn't count it nor check it. We always assume is correct cos it has been counted and documented in the satellite church.
Unfortunately, the guy in charge failed to turn up. In the morning, I was in a haste to leave cos of my early morning class. I failed to hand it over to my colleague who took over from me. He calle me later and I told him where I kept the money
A week after, while I was in class yesterday, my church accountant called me in respect of the money. He said the money was tampered. $800 precisely.
Before God and man I didn't take a dime from it. Now am being questioned. So confused. I just finished paying off a debt of 148k last month after I spilled diesel. Life seems so cruel to me now. I have cried to God to vindicate me
I have my school to take care of. How do I defend myself here. How do I live with this trauma.
Why should those who are hustling genuinely go through pains

This is not fair at all and I am not happy reading this biut one thing i know is that as you were paying back that money in installments, so shall the person be loosing more than what he stole from you in same manner both through financial and health wise.. whether its your colleague, the church accountant or the person that brought that money.
Stop grieving over it, it shall come back to you in million folds both through better job or divine favour from God. Its OK.

Let me state it here. I forgot to hand over the money. It was in the drawer where I kept it. I left to school early in the morning. So my colleague that took over from me called to inquire about it. I was far away. I told him where the money was. I was careless to have forgotten it I know. Lots of things on my head. You will only understand if you have to take care of yourself in school nd the same time send money home to your parents not to talk of paying a debt of 148k which you didn't make use of

Correction, the one I paíd was about the spilled diesel.
Thus particular $800 dollar offering is still being investigated. I pray, the culprit confess. I know it must happen cos it's God money. If not, it will be awful cos a case of theft is not a good thing at all. Considering the environment, is a sackable offence (God forbid)

OK correction taken, I take back my words but if peradventure u are asked to pay the money then that will be unfair that's if truly you know nothing about it as u stated earlier and pls stop swearing especially when innocent of accusations.
Can't you leave that job because it seems cankerworms are at work there.

Is really hard for someone to leave a security job where he earns 55k a month and other benefits.

OK I understand.. God shall direct u.. pls be more carefu in future.

Someone just told u to be more careful,please be,since this one is not that serious,just move on and be more careful in the fututre,don't even trust yourself,you are a security officer for crying out loud
