this is really funny. since he hasnt declared his assets yet , that time is long enough to amass his own 'national cake' with Aisha as his assistant. With due respects to both sides of the argumentative divide, we're all better off praying and working for the best interests of the Nigerian project (and not any other agenda whether APC's or Northern).

And, in such vested interest, i hope Buhari would be heading the Ministry while benefiting from the acument of worldclass Petroleum Resources Strategic Management and Economic Restructuring teams.

If not, the indices of current profitable Oil Sector Mgt trends especially in recessive seasons like this might be beyond him.

Change, Change, Change! Change that is not producing any tangible or abstract accruable benefit is no change, just a swapping of one abrasive yoke for another.

We need to see the PIB implemented and empowered to work; we need to see a repositioning of the Nigerian economy from Petroluem based MonoEconomy to a diversified one; we're talking about industrialization, Agriculture, tourism as alternative major GDP earners while we strengthen education, internal security, maritime sector etc with reforms.

Right now, majority of all the above will be initiated if not entirely facilitated with petroleum funds hence the need for transparency, initiative and a welldefined and directed political will to succeed on the long term.

Not Presidency just sitting atop the Petroluem Ministry playing "HeadNiggaInCharge". Buhari don't forget o why we vote and don't forget many of those who dug the grave of PDP are now wearing agbada in your camp also.

Good one but I strongly believe there is one Nigerian out of the over 170m Nigerians that is upright enough to he minister of petroleum. I'll be checking Aisha wrist watch, PMBs SAs/PAs cars, houses, children school, marriages, holiday trips e.t.c. in the next 18 months before l Comment further.

I'm not surprised. The main reason why the cabals, tinubu and other interest came together was specifically to ensure they could renew their oil contracts which will expire in 2016.

The 18 months ensure Buhari has final say on those contracts and can "repay" all of those who put him in power. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes some for himself

OMG! I'm amazed by your reasoning. He should not even appoint Ministers at all. He should head all the ministries. If Buhari isn't the one to prosecute and take people to courts, then he shouldn't be the one to head the petroleum ministry.

Hmm the combination of Buhari + Kachikwu heading the Ministry of Petroleum and NNPC is a dream team, no more slacking allowed cos none of them will take any prisoners. A lot of incompetent pple working in dis sector at the Govt level will start lookin 2 transfer to other sectors as the heat will become too much to bear. Finally order will be restored cos if pple don't take their way of transparency, accountability and competence, then they will just have to take the highway to other sectors, early retirement or prison.
