It is not as bad as it is being portrayed. The only places you see prostitutes are the specific hotels and bars that are okay with them. There are some hotels where the security men pursue these girls away... no girl would harass you on the street of festac town for paid for sex... these occurrences are only at certain locations in festac.

of course I know na! Those of us who were bred in Festac knew what festac town was back in those days. festac town had intelligent children in education,showbiz and even sports. yes, I attended a wedding last week at Golden Tulip(formerly called Durbar Hotel). i was surprised to see the ongoing construction of Shoprite beside the hotel. I was wondering if the location is ok because it is hidden and not noticeable. I heard rumors last year that the NITEL building at 22road was to be bought and converted to Shoprite. That means it didn't work out. That would have been a perfect location for Shoprite.
