Foolish people. They should compare their salaries and allowances with the salaries of legislators in all those countries that generate better electricity and the answer would be clear.

Some people don't know that anytime committees are setup to do one probe or investigation millions of naira is budgeted as allawee for those committee members who will carryout the probe.They are after the allawee not the probe cause at the end it will be manipulated or envelopes will be exchange.

The senators should also probe their ridiculous allawees.

Let me tell you the truth there was never any $16 billion scam, maybe $2.5 billion. Yaradua did a hatchet job to stop OBJ's programme, and guess what, the shocker is part of the complaints was the NIPP was Igbo dominated (go figure, It was controlled by Uba). The company I worked for did jobs with PHCN, I doubt Makoju the former CEO saw $10m talk less of $100m. Corruption may have entered into NIPP but that came later and $2.5 billion was spent. The capital expenditure on power was less than $6, Yardua added recurrent expediture and salary to come up with $16b which does not make sense because you pay salary in naira. I don't care about OBj, but those are the facts. Another issue is militancy and gas, Nigeria has omotosho, papalanto and geregu power plants they spent around $1.2b, the structure is there but no gas to feed the plant. Nigeria actually may have more capacity if there is adequate gas arrangement. What they should do is solve militancy and create a gas masterplan, all this investigation will never lead to a solution.
