Please Nairalanders I will need your help on the above subject ! A man came into my office today begging me to help him with a Driving job. Then he told me that he has been a professional driver for more than 5years. Immediately he said that statement I began to think how and when driving became a professional carrer? If its a professional carrer truely then I think there is need to add it in our university curriculum. Your opinion on this subject is needed. Never mind my way of writting as am not a good writer. chocolateme:I think we should start by defining what a professional job is..... I don't think you need to go a university to become a professional in your field. I know of professional photographers who never went to university. If a boat captain can be a called a professional..... I don't see any reason why a driver can't be called a professional. The definition of professional is: Relating to or belonging to a profession. 2. engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid occupation rather than as an amateur. Footballers are professional because they are paid to play the game of soccer! Anything that you are paid for doing and puts food on the table should be seen as a profession |
