Is Driving A Professional Job? by expertman(op): 2:41pm On Aug 15, 2015
Please Nairalanders I will need your help on the above subject !

A man came into my office today begging me to help him with a Driving job.

Then he told me that he has been a professional driver for more than 5years.

Immediately he said that statement I began to think how and when driving became a professional carrer?

If its a professional carrer truely then I think there is need to add it in our university curriculum.

Your opinion on this subject is needed.

Never mind my way of writting as am not a good writer.

I think we should start by defining what a professional job is..... I don't think you need to go a university to become a professional in your field.
I know of professional photographers who never went to university.
If a boat captain can be a called a professional..... I don't see any reason why a driver can't be called a professional.
The definition of professional is: Relating to or belonging to a profession.
2. engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid
occupation rather than as an amateur
.
Footballers are professional because they are paid to play the game of soccer!

Anything that you are paid for doing and puts food on the table should be seen as a profession
