One thing I am passionate about is the victims of crimes and human conduct. We neglect them and it is very unfair. We cannot continue this way. Everywhere you look, you find victims of human and institutional conduct. From police torture to soldiers, criminals, and people who stand in fiduciary relationship with others. If you look the other way because the victim is not related or associated with you, when it happens to those close to you, do not, I repeat, do not expect people to stand with you.
A man was molested in Nasarawa State recently. I can count the number of people who condemned that shameful act by our soldiers. The military issued a statement on the matter.
