Recently, i was given a right-handed guitar as a present but i can't play i Am totally left-handed,i do everytin wit my left-hand and all my friends who play guitars are right-handed hav tried to teach me how to use da guitar but it just feel strange.. i hav been looking for a leftie guitar everywhere to see if it wud feel better to me but its so scarce nd i heard its costly. Even if i get it,i dnt knw who wud teach me cos my friends told me righties chord are different frm leftie's.....someone pls help me on hw i can get da chords and learn it when i buy it

Do yourself a favour and learn to play the guitar the proper way. It will save you a lot of stress later on.

An option (though I won't recommend it) is to reverse the order of the strings on your guitar. That means you put the high E string where the 6th string is, you put the B string where the A string is and so on. That's what Jimi Hendrix did.

Final advice, learn to play normally, its not that difficult once you put your mind to it. I'm left handed and I had no problems.
