Sometimes i wonder if people understand the gravity of their utterances. For there to be a final offensive, then it means a war has almost been won. Does it look like the war against BH is being won so far? Before anyone responds, think about the daily attacks and the death rate. Terrorism is not what you fight in the bushes; it is a door to door, CQC assault/guerrilla warfare/espionage. It does not have a time table nor an expiration date. It is ongoing. Why? because what drives terrorism is an ideology. It is very difficult to kill an idea. You can only suppress it. Only re education can change an idea and that is almost impossible when it comes to terrorism. If our leaders don't understand this fundamental concept, then i fear for the war.

This is rubbish. What of Maj. Gen. L.O Adeosun (I hope I got the name right), then GOC 7th Division who was responsible for the successful 6-weeks offensive against Boko Haram? Or the likes of Brig. Gen. Udoh of 5th Brigade? These men were responsible for the succesful 6 weeks offensive and led from the FRONT.
