You haven't seen a Dr since you started having the flashes and poor vision in the right eye? The Dr you saw when you had the floaters didn't tell you to run back to him/her once it progressed to flashes and or blurry vision?

I suspect you may be having retinal or vitreous detachment. The best thing you can do for yourself now is to run to a qualified Eye Doctor. National hospital is very good. A dilated fundoscopy will be done to ascertain what could be wrong. If it is indeed retinal/vitreous detachment, you will need a retinal re-attachment surgery immediately. If not, you could lose that eye. Were you ever hit on that eye? Blunt trauma? Are you a sickle cell patient?

By the way, what you have now has lil or nothing to do with the itching and red eyes you had while growing up. That was just a chronic allergic/vernal conjunctivitis. That is usually not vision threatening, but what you have now is not to be taken lightly.

But this time around my vision is also affected, I think I am losing my sight in my right eye, there is floaters, flashers and know my right suddenly goes blank,as in complete darkness before clearing a little bit, the blurriness is there, I am not really scared about it, it is the sudden darkness that I am scared about, for few seconds I wont be able to see anything with my right eye before clearing again. Sorry to say but you are even enjoying, you have not met with death face to face before, so yours is small thing for God to handle. I want you to come to my church in warri. Give God a chance the woman of God whom the lord used to set me free from captivity of death twice and totally that same woman God will use to heal you if you believe and put all your hope in Lord Jesus you will thank me later. Can you trust me and trust God and do this and let him set you free from that inherited bondage of suffering?

I am currently out of abuja, to be back in few weeks but am willing to send him to my eye Doctor in Abuja for comprehensive test and treatment, however, he has to provide more evidence that this is true. We live in an age of super stories. Contact one of the MODS maybe Seun or Lalasticlala and show evidence. We will take it up from there...Be strong and courageous

u are right,even if i have one i still won't feel secure posting a video of me on net.

I will be grateful if someone can meet me up and verify my claims in an open public place, the mere sight of my eyes alone go tell u say this guy eyes no set o, i will be even glad if the person can take e to a clinic to run test and verify. I stay in abuja, kubwa to be precise.

People asking for pictures of his eyes; that kind of eye disease rarely shows externally. It's inside the eyes and can only be confirmed by a qualified Eye Doctor.

OP, i honestly don't understand you. It will take you very little amount to go to a General Hospital and at least get a correct diagnosis! You should not be begging for money yet when you don't even know what the problem is. You don't have to go all the way to National Hospital before you get to know what the problem is. National Hospital is a bit pricey. Get yourself to any General Hospital around you. Every General Hospital has at least one Ophthalmologist that will make a correct diagnosis. If it is what i think it is, then you can come back here to beg for funds to sort it out.

The first step in the right direction is to know what exactly the problem is and that can be gotten from a qualified eye doctor in a General Hospital. So many people undermine these GHs, but they actually have better qualified Doctors with many years of experience than the private ones.

You may be referred to National Hospital after a correct diagnosis has been made and it isn't what they can handle. Goodluck.

i have taken the necessary step and mailed the super mods, my pics are up for everyone to see. I am even willing to meet anyone but it seems no one is willing to help, the only person that has shown genuine interest is built2.

I created this thread because i believed i might get help from here no matter how little. I don't blame anyone though, i am just sad that my effort is fruitless.

Did you read the last post by Phema? You have been rightly adviced to leave National hospital because of cost and go to a general hospital for a diagnoses. You can always come back here if the funds become too much for you to bear. By the grace of God, you will get enough to cater for it. But first, get to a general hospital and get a proper diagnoses.

As phema said, the flashes of light you experience can help narrow your diagnosis down to vitro-retinal detachment which is unusual but not unheard of given your age except you experienced trauma to the face prior to the symptoms first appearing or if you are a sickler though am not making any diagnosis here, the descriptions you gave will mark your case as sight threatening and i hope you have received appropriate medical aid by the time you read this.
