lionduke:
This guy`s death made him more popular because he lived an exemplary life. At a young age he has achieved a lot for himself , and left a memorable mark with everyone he came in contact with. He was a legend in making. I admire him especially his passion for photography even as a successful young pilot. We love you peter but God loves you more and i pray you find peace in the bossom of the the almighty....

I just wish people will stop making a jamboree out of a truly sad event. First to tweet, first to post pics, first to give live updates. cry

kachysblog:
A memorial service was held in memory of one of the pilots, Peter Bello from the ill-fated Bristow Helicopter that killed six people and injured six others last week.

As friends and family of Peter Kayode Bello mourn his passing away, a service of songs was held on Monday, August 17 at the Catholic Church of Divine Mercy in Lekki, Lagos Nigeria.

Peter Bello’s friends, family and colleagues were there to share tributes and celebrate a brilliant young man who gave selflessly of himself and continues to touch lives, even in death.

In attendance also was the former governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke. See photos below...

I read some of the tributes posted by his friends.
No doubt he impacted everyone he ever came across. As if he knew he had little time to spend here on earth. Young but yet accomplished. Rest in Peace Peter Bello.

The mor.onic 1diotic Oba of Lagos allocated Lagoon space for Igbos in Lagos and a helicopter with yorubas went to land on "Igbo Property".

What an Irony!

I wish the Oba's relatives was among them

Sometimes it's actually a good idea to say nothing.
You are wishing some unknown relatives death as if you or any human has power over death, I really do smh. Sad what tribalism had turned some people into.

RIP to Peter Bello. May his family be comforted, Amen.

So the Oba knew that if people entered lagoon, they will die abi? Then why did he ask Igbos to go and jump into the Lagoon?

I am not in support of what the Oba said which was very wrong, my point is it is not necessary to come down to the same level as the Oba by wishing death on his relatives (who may not even support what he said!)
Let's rise above the hate. Cheers
