Hypocrisy is the biggest problem Nigeria has. Obasanjo came into power, people jettisoned his presidential tittle, called him baba (as if na him born them) and went ahead to tell him that without him Nigeria will come to a standstill. As far as they are concerned only him has the requisite experience to make nigeria great. Consequently, he rode roughshod on all of us, he abused people on national media at will and when it was time to go he connived with some to change constitution and get a third term. He eventually left after installing those he consider stooge and even after leaving power he himself couldn't recover from hype created about him while in power. He insanely goes around accusing everyone else of corrupttiin but himself. So sad. Jonathan came in, he got surrounded by sycophants too to the extent that he became totally inure to all crimes being perpetrated around him. It is Buhari's time and the slogan now is that he is the only incorruptible man on planet earth. Whatever he does as far as his sycophants are concerned he is immuned to mistake and he cannot err. If he chooses to take the entire four years to form a cabinet and keep Nigeria at standstill, it doesn't matter. In buhari we now have not another President but another 'baba' in the mode of Obasanjo. He is free to roughshod over us, neglect constitutional provision and at the end of the day cleanse us of our corrupt tendency while he himself sits down there and gradually slide into dictatorship, a terrible form of corruption. What a people we are, we glory in human worship and turn our leaders to deities only worthy of our worship. 15 Likes 6 Shares |

All I know is that Buhari can only try to reduce corruption but corruption can never end in Nigeria as long as same politicians are still in power. I will come back and finish the epistle. |

This is very true.. As much as APC try to chastise him we must all agree that he is adopting a behaviour which shows how much of a totalitarian he is turning his leadership to. Much of the ado about his government is indeed the initial flair most of our past leaders have had but so far, even in the anti corruption/ probing agenda which was on the forefront of his campaign promises, We have seen no results. This is very shameful of a man who has tried several times to get into power. Some people who voted him did so on the grounds that he has been watching the local politics and system of governance and will be ready to swing into action with the right men and crew. Instead we are very disappointed to discover he is indeed clueless as we accuse GEJ of because he is spending months and valuable time trying to learn what the ministries are about and how they work while the country is at a stand still suffering loss of valuable resources. 1 Like |

soe: Tinubu is getting worried but we are not. Nigerian politicians will hear wennn. There is a new political class coming. The Buhari I know will reset everything from the fundamentals. Every politician has played into his hands already, even the problem in the Senate has made him more powerful. PDP is in limbo and APC factions are having a go at each other. I say it again .u na go hear wenn and with the west is giving him the 'leriks', let us just wait. The good times are coming for the masses...but politicians of all colours, they will hear wenn. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nigeria is irredeemable. When Buhari won the election, I gave up on Nigeria. Now, I concentrate on what I can do to transform my estate to a world class habitat as a person. Because it takes more than common sense to lead a nation. Buhari is incapable of building one single world class road. The roads in Nigeria looks like the roads in London 800 years ago. Buhari simply has no ideas. I thought he would have recruited the best brains to give him direction and just focus on giving instruction but I am dumb-founded to see the man becoming a military dictator, running a monarchy in a Democratic country. He went to America to meet Obama's team without a Cabinet, NOT EVEN AN ECONOMIC TEAM. Instead he went with Amaechi, Oshomole wife and Rochas. That was the day, I gave up on today's Nigeria. 9 Likes 4 Shares |
