If you go to Abuja, u will have to start a fresh regularization process and pay a fresh fee aswell.

We all knows that if someone is older than 30years, he/she will not be mobilized for NYSC i.e (they gets Certificate of Exemption)
Due to this, alot of Staffs in The student's affairs unit of schools charges fee to help students reduce their age so as to enable them get mobilized because even as at Batch A15, its the duty of the students' affairs department to send your details to NYSC which also includes date of birth... But from Batch B15, NYSC has changed that pattern such that your date of birth is pulled from your database in JAMB website (this can only happen if your JAMB Reg number is valid). This change of arrangement has left only those related with JAMB regularization issue the opportunity to falsify their age if they want to be mobilized, but i still believe that NYSC will have a way to checkmate that at the orientation camp, maybe by requesting for original WAEC result or something else to prove your age.

This is a known fact..... Your JAMB Reg number MUST be valid if you really wana serve

So if your JAMB says no admission offered it is not valid?Lol....I went to JAMB office and I was told I have no problem....If your logic is right 90% of students in my school who have been mobilized will not be going coz here JAMB does not give admission...Admission is base on connections... please you should stop spreading rumors...They printed my JAMB result for me in their office and it has my date of birth on it

this has been happening since our batch. Me for instance, my school sent 1989 and i saw 1988 that was on my jamb form wen i been dey register. It is not a new development. Many people was exempted as a result of dis.

An admission officer sat me down today,and told me a whole lot about regularization and several misconceptions about it. He said that one sees "no admission yet" doesn't mean that his number is invalid. He said that regularization is for those who mainly came rems/DE without any JAMB number at all. The school then collaborates with JAMB to generate numbers. Those are the numbers that are regularized,in the sense that the person's details like names,date of birth,address,state of origin,etc are captured. I talked about my case. He said those who registered, wrote and passed jamb,checked their results using scratch card and reg no,and yet seeing "no admission offered yet" need not worry. That since they registered for jamb,jamb has their details,and those details are what NYSC requires,not necessarily the course of study,as that will be uploaded by the school's nysc office. So if u wrote jamb,try to buy a scratch card and recheck ur result. If u find it hard,then there's a problem. But if it works,then ur number is valid,and that is what nysc needs. That d jamb portal for regularization or validation is for only those reg numbers generated when the school collaborates with JAMB. That is when details are filled. PCM's,how una see am? Wetin b una take?

Please, if one got admission from First choice institution, paid acceptance and later opted for admission from Second choice school which came later, is there a need for regularization and would the registration number with JAMB change?
