Putting on your bra is a daily routine for millions of women all around the world, but the way you choose to do it can say a lot about you!

According to research conducted by Patti Wood, a body language and human behavior expert, the way you fasten your bra actually reveals a great deal about who you are as a person.

She says: “There are four distinct personality types – drivers, influencers, supporters, and careful correctors – who tend to have very unique ways of doing things, even small tasks. Everything you do – and the way you do it – comes together to form a story about yourself, and there’s no reason your undergarments shouldn’t be a part of that.”


•If you fasten your bra at the front and then twist it round, you’re an ‘influencer’: You like to be noticed, appreciated and challenged. You always look your best. You get bored easily.

•If you wear a back-clasping bra and fasten it behind your back, you’re a ‘supporter’: You follow tradition and go along with what you’ve been taught. You’re sociable and are a good listener, but you don’t like change.

•If you wear a front-clasping bra, you’re a ‘driver’: You’re efficient, you don’t waste time, you get things done. But, you fear losing control.

•If you fasten your bra first before sliding it over your head, you’re a ‘careful corrector’: You like to do things right from the start, so you analyse a situation before making a move. However, you don’t really like being the focus of attention.
