Do you think this type of news is about finding a missing goat?

This senators are very steeewpeed, so they knew they would still have to beg when they ignored everything the party proposed before. They must be punished accordingly.

The mistake Saraki made was not to have given his opponents the senate majority leader position like Dogora did. He Saraki fought the battle to a finish without any atom of consideration of fairness. Now we have a senate leadership filled with his supporters only which is not good for any peaceful cohesion.
Had he swallowed his pride and conceded the senate majority leadership position to lawal by now all the war would have ended and he saraki will be hailed as a great strategist instead of being looked at as a traitor and war monger. Its so sad that he allowed that opportunity to pass him by. Rather now its Dogora that is being viewed as a kind hearted Nationalist both by his supporters and the APC leaders.

He's in his house resting. Did the report not mention who was on the road looking for reconciliation?

The fundamental mindset of our so-called "leaders" on what democracy is is wrong. Saraki is part of Nigeria's "business as usual" people, being a second-generation leech on Nigeria. He has irrevocable blacklisted me on twitter, being careful not to block so I don't claim victory, BUT on this issue, I back him. Morally he was not so upright, but as far as democracy is concerned, if he could listen to me, I would tell him what to do. Buhari is not the king of Nigeria. Nobody should care whether he likes them or not. He is the one who should be vulnerable sef. Saraki should not beg anything. Let him stick to his gun. He emerged from a perfectly legal process and if there are any misgivings, blame it on the non-existence of a law orrule which he would have violated. "Where there is no law, there is no sin."
The APC should have factored in popularity of a candidate across the aisle before selecting a nominee for principal offices. Did they? Worst of all, on the day AND TIME of the vote, APC senators abandoned it to jaw-jaw with King Buhari. GOOD FOR THEM! Nigeria is a joke. The best are rotting away somewhere and the mediocres, champions of our backwardness are the ones at the helms of our affairs. What a profoundly sick society!

For a Yoruba Northerner, Saraki has wangled his way to the highest office possible whether for even two days. It's not like he will ever become a pauper again. When people who attained the highest office and prominence through coup start forming democrat, you laugh. The same people who threatened a treasonous parallel govt except do or die they win. 9ja na true comedy land. grin cheesy

PMB may end up ruining himself and this country altogether,he has surrounded himself with sycophants and unnecessary propagandists.People who give him impression that he is all powerful,a super being.
All you keep hearing,PMBs body language,PMBs that PMBs this, some people are taking sycophancy to another level.Like the former American sec.of state puts it,'We do not need a strong man to succeed but rather,we need strong institutions'. PMB was there in the eighties and aggressively imposing his war against indiscipline and corruption, when he left, we fell back to an all time low, because he failed to build strong institutions, the emphasis was on a strong personality.

Saraki is enjoying himself. He has the support of his colleagues in the Senate and that is what matters and not the irrelevant Tinubu support. His supporters grew from 59 senators on June 9 to 81 senators on July 28,Don't be suprised if he gets 100 senators when the Senate reconvenes

Saraki's & Co are agent of Pd&p. Their plan was to collaborate with Nass Assembly to truncate PMB administration in other to get power back for PDP in 2019. Thank God, kudos to Dogara's leadership. Saraki's enemies of progressive change

That was how they started in the Pdp. From Buhari to Tinubu to Obj to Ibb to Abdsalaam into the hands of the opposition! Apc had better swallow their foolish pride and put their house in order before its too late.

Forget that one, what happened in pdp can never happen in Apc because pdp did not work for Nigerians. If Apc perform very well, who's senate P. to destroy d victory of APc, even when David Mark worked for PDp, he couldn't win Benue for d party.

The Senate would be used to resist Buhari's dictatorship starting with the plan to impose his inlaw as the INEC boss

says the ignorant one. you phools will never admit the country is on the right track. Senate standing order was forged and used to elect senate leadership while 80% of the senators of the majority party were away and you expect a president that loves his party to overlook such act of indiscipline and betrayal? even the deputy senate president seat that should go to the party was given to the opposition. Mr man think before you start spewing unnecessary trash. things are gradually getting better. if you won't support the president the least you can do Is to relocate to Congo. you won't be missed

. Nigerians don't care about intra-party hullabaloo. They should work for d betterment of the citizenry. If Buhari like make him carry fire for head for Saraki and his supporters n if Saraki like, make him behave like a non patriot to party directives, what we want is delivery of their promises to Nigerians...long live naija.

Another source on the trip said: “Yes, the President gave us audience in spite of the fact that he was not too happy with some of us on the roles we played. But I commend his magnanimity.
“We explained the situation of things to him and why he should forgive and forget whatever went wrong. We know what to do in the spirit of reconciliation to accommodate the Ahmed Lawan group.”

You know what to do?

that's if they will abide by the president directive that they should suppress their personal ego and allow for the party instructions to be obeyed

since its the party that brought them the post and not their personal self
