This happend to me in ph at the mini okoro police barrack.
My church was having an outreach,so we went to the station to share the word of God with the inmates..on reaching the station....we spent almost an hour making this oga to understand the purpose of our visit..we went with free ministry materials.my job is to photo cover the events..

As we are getting prepard..I took out the canon digital camera..fixed it up and took a shot..immediatly a hot slap landed on my cheek..oboy I was like""""oh God na like this persecution dey tk come?" Before I can even think of mincing a word this oga police just said
"If u don't drop that camera we will lock u up"..I raised my head up to him and said
"Am sorry sir,I didn't know" he cuts in "my friend shot up,if I nack u wt this my gun..oboy na dia my heart dey melt..but for the timely intervention of my church big men....the police men calm down a bit..then one shouted at me,before I open my eye u do pack that camera.naa mehn if u see the speed wey I use pack am en..

We went on with our primary mission...a sergent took us to were they holds suspects..as we enterd....the place was so smelling of untreated gun shots..for the 1st time in my life I saw a gun shot wound real life..the dude was shot at the leg and the wound was smelling..heaving kws hw long that guy v been like that..to make matter worse,I looked around and saw a girl not more than 15 yrs..I was like..what are this police men smoking...arresting a 15yr old girl..we were not allowed to talk to them,just the two most senior from our crew were allowed to do the preching..the rest of us were told to wait outside..after the preaching,we gave them food..in take away plates..the guy wt d gun shot wound,he thanked us for the food..he even said "God don ansa my prayer today"

Then we were led to the main main cell..the police treated us as if we are gonna break d inmates out..they collected our phones before we went in to the corridor..and again they told us to go out and wait..as person wey never see prison cell for real life before,I manage to lOok..but could only see a room that looks like a toture chamber..it was like a toilet...but I know the inmate were in the next room..

Just like the 1st part,the two most seniors in our crew went further.the rest of us were asked to leave the corridor to the counter..as I stood there,I looked around the place,saw two cctvs,but I was like "light no dey" "them no dey work"...as a small sharp guy,I managed to shift to were I can see what is happening in that corridor,but for were?two Ak 47 weilding guy were just blocking my veiw...I heard them saying..oga time don go..

I was like "what the hell"the inmates were thaught d word of God,and above all some gave their hearts to christ...we then shared soap,tooth past,eba n melon soup in take away plates,detol,etc to d inmates. And viola we went outside n joined hands to pray.then off we go..

I saw stars,am telling you..

Even the police women there sef them no even say mk d officer pity me,them sef follo dey look me as if them wan gather beat me die.I swear,police do me like slave yesterday..all through our assignment I just dey nurse my face..I never chop slap before like that.

worst of it all the oga that slapped me received a plate of food after we shared to the inmates and there were some remaining and we had to share it out as not to waste it..we gave the police men on sight..as soon as I saw my slapper received a plate,I was like wtf...free food for slapping me..and the mumu was smiling wt 32 teeths while receiving the plate. Na him type dey tear race even when them see robbers with odinary pistol

And again I doubt if the detols,soaps,paste,etc we shared to each one of the inmates won't be taken away from them and shared among the men in uniform..very pathetic I swear
